ABOUT KODA CONTEMPORARY BALLET
Houston’s newest contemporary ballet company, KODA Contemporary Ballet, invites you to be part of a bold new movement in dance. Founded by seasoned professional contemporary ballet artists Aidan Kohles-Wolf and Sarah Kohles-Wolf, KODA was created to unite and elevate the artistic voices of Houston’s vibrant dance community through powerful, collaborative performance experiences.
Bringing together artists from multiple local companies for dynamic large-scale projects throughout the season, KODA blends athleticism and artistry to make contemporary ballet more accessible, innovative, and artistically expansive for both dancers and audiences alike.
With extensive experience as performers, educators, directors, and choreographers, the Kohles-Wolfs foster an environment that champions artistic freedom, versatility, collaboration, and creative exploration in order to push the boundaries of contemporary ballet. KODA is more than a company — it is a platform for connection, innovation, and the evolution of contemporary ballet in Houston.
As our inaugural season begins, we invite you to follow our journey, experience the work, and become part of the growing KODA community. Stay tuned for upcoming performances, artist announcements, and opportunities to support the future of contemporary ballet in Houston.
